Please be sure to read the file below before attempting anything. This tutorial on how to install the courses is the most comprehensive around and was done by Jeff Jarvis of Tiger Woods Community. There is also a VIDEO TUTORIAL on this page, from ORBSTER.You will find it VERY useful. Adobe is required to read it and Winrar to open it, both available for download on this page if you need it.

VISTA FOR TW 07

There is a newer driver 165.01 and TW07 works with no problems,no one is sure where this driver came from and there are not many links to it,most are from file sharers,do a web search and you should be able to find them or they may be on the main sites soon as they do work well. here`s a link,not sure if this type of link is allowed here or how long the link will be active but TW07 does work with this driver.It definately works but unfortunately not with SLI.There is a glitch..befiore playing a round make sure your settings-AA and anistrop[ic are set. if you tab out of the game and change the settings it chops like a mofo. Restart the game and it works like a charm!

VISTA PROBLEMS  TW 08

Is there anybody who would know if I need to do something special to play online if I have windows vista. I bought new tiger woods tour 08 and instal it on my comuter where I am using vista. It works ok. The only problem is that when I wont to play online the game crashes and report a problem but nothing particular. The masage is: "Tiger woods pga tour 08 has stoped working" and also:"A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a soulution is available." and thats it. If there is anybody who can help me please tell me the soulution................................
well do you have Windows Mobile Device Center installed and working?,if you use this you wont be able to play online as there is a conflict with EASO,they are looking into a fix. What is windows mobile device center and where can i check if I have it.......................It is the software that Windows uses to sync Windows Mobile 6 smartphones/PDA's.Though it will work if you UNINSTALL THIS PROGRAMME as if you uninstalled any other programme. It does work.

ALSO

You have to turn off automatic updates and remove a hotfix that ends with "615". I did it and it works like a champ again!, this you can check through EA Tech Support, first to make sure.

I have tried it and it works. PLEASE read the TEXT document in the files for details on how to set it up

Use it at your own risk.

- copy courseutilities.exe to TW08 bin directory
* right click on the file->send to desktop

- Clsetup.exe 07 is modified to work with 08
* create a folder, copy all CLSetup files to the folder->launch CLSetup.exe
* change the installation path to 08 directory in the menu->properties ::root

Here's what you need to do:
 
Place all files in TW08 bin directory

Then right click on the CLSetup file   (The one that looks like a yellow folder) ->send to Desktop(creat shortcut)
 
The bin folder is located at My computer / C:(local disk) / Program files / EA Sports / Tigerwoods PGA Tour 08 / bin
 
To install courses go to www.coursedownloads.com  find your 08 custom course and download and save the course and its needed
libraries on your desktop.
Once you have completed this, Open up your CLSetup thats on your desktop, a window will
open up(open installation archive) find the course and libraries in there,Highlight all and clik open.
Then a (choose installation folder) window will open up ,clik ok for each library and then at the end it will install the course.
Rekmember! after you install the course ,if you are missing any libraries it will ask you if you want clsetup to show you whats missing,you clik
OK and a window will pop open with the missing libraries,go back to coursedownloads.com and find them.
"One other thing",when downloading other courses,most of them use some of the same libraries,so no need to install them again.

Place the extracted files for the CLSetup Utility into a folder (anywhere).  The extracted files should be:
CLSetup.exe
CLSetup.bmp
CLSetup.html
readme.txt
 
Right click CLSetup.exe and select "Send To -> Desktop".  This will create a shortcut on your desktop.
 
Go to your desktop and open Shortcut to CLSetup.exe.
 
It will ask you to Open an Installation archive.  CANCEL this.
 
Select Options, Properties.
Under Installation Paths - Root: , select the location of your TW08 folder (Mine is CProgram FilesEA SPORTSTiger Woods PGA Tour 08).
 
Once selected dialog box should read "C:Program FilesEA SPORTSTiger Woods PGA TOUR 08"
 
Select OK once that is done.
 
Now you should be able to open and install installation archives for TW08 Courses with this CLSetup the same way you have been for TW07 courses.
